What is MelTrade?
MelTrade is a free trade directory for Melbourne's eastern suburbs. It lists 786 local businesses that rate 4 stars or better on Google, with their own phone number and their own website, so you contact them directly. There is no middleman, no lead resale and no booking fee.
How much does it cost to be listed on MelTrade?
Nothing. A listing is free and stays free. You can add your own business, or somebody else's, through the form on this page and it appears on the directory straight away.
Where do the ratings and reviews come from?
Straight from each business's own Google Business listing. Ratings and review counts are pulled from Google and refreshed, and nothing is ever typed in by hand — a business with no Google listing shows no rating rather than an invented one.
Do you sell my enquiry to other trades?
No. MelTrade does not take enquiries or sell leads. You get the business's own phone number and website and you contact them yourself, so nobody else is bidding for the job.
What areas of Melbourne does MelTrade cover?
Melbourne's eastern suburbs: Manningham, Maroondah, Knox, Whitehorse, Nillumbik and Yarra Ranges. That runs from Box Hill, Blackburn and Doncaster out through Ringwood, Croydon, Ferntree Gully and Rowville, up to Eltham, Diamond Creek and Hurstbridge, and east to Lilydale, Monbulk, Healesville and Warburton.
How do I get my business on MelTrade?

How accurate are the map pins?
Where a business has a verified street address the pin is at that address. Where it does not, the pin sits at the centre of the suburb it works from and the popup says so, rather than pretending to a precision we do not have.
